AI Solutions Architect

Full-time or senior contract · Austin, TX · hybrid

You run the AI Once-Over. Four weeks inside a real business: walk how the work moves, price every place AI belongs, build the first workflow with the client's team, write the safe-use rules, train the people, hand it off running. You're the senior person clients text. This is an implementation role for someone who can also hold the room.

What you'll do

  • Lead Once-Over engagements end to end: kickoff, process walk, audit, delivery
  • Produce AI Opportunity Maps — every opportunity priced in the client's numbers, ranked, defensible
  • Design and ship the first build with the client's team, on their accounts
  • Write safe-use rules and train non-technical staff without condescending to them
  • Carry retainer accounts as the client's AI guy: text and email, same business day
  • Evaluate tools on merit — we take no reseller commissions, ever

What you bring

  • 5+ years across software, operations, or consulting — and you've shipped LLM-backed workflows that real people use, not demos
  • You can read a business: where money comes in, where hours go, what a loaded hour costs
  • Plain-English writing that survives a busy owner's inbox
  • Comfortable being the only technical person in the room, and the calmest

Nice to have

  • RAG and agent-framework experience; Zapier/Make/n8n fluency
  • Time inside law, medical, accounting, or agency operations

Project Manager / Account Manager

Full-time · Austin, TX · hybrid

You own the client relationship after the audit month. Retainer accounts, build coordination, monthly working sessions, renewals. Our promise to clients is one person, same business day, scope in writing — you're how that promise scales past one person without breaking.

What you'll do

  • Run the retainer book: schedule and prep monthly working sessions, own follow-through
  • Coordinate builds between architects, engineers, and the client's team
  • Write the monthly client report: what shipped, what it saved, what's next
  • Keep scope, timelines, and commitments in writing — and keep them
  • Spot expansion honestly: recommend AI Search or Full Ops when it's true, never when it isn't
  • Support affiliate operators in the AI Guy Network as it grows city by city

What you bring

  • 3+ years client-facing delivery — agency, consulting, or SaaS implementation
  • Ruthless follow-up. Nothing you own sits overnight
  • Writing that's short, warm, and specific
  • Daily AI-tool fluency: you already run your own work through it

Nice to have

  • Notion/Linear/CRM ops; light automation skills of your own
  • Time inside a service business — you know what busy season feels like

Software Engineer

Full-time or contract · Austin preferred · remote considered

You build the systems the audits promise. Client automations and integrations, LLM pipelines with guardrails, and the network's own tooling — intake, reporting, the AI Search citation tracker. Everything ships on the client's accounts with docs a non-engineer can run. Small and reliable beats clever here, every time.

What you'll do

  • Ship client builds: lead machines, support assistants, reporting pipelines, company brains
  • Integrate the unglamorous stack — email, CRMs, phones, calendars, spreadsheets, docs
  • Build LLM workflows with evals, guardrails, and honest failure modes
  • Grow the network's internal tools: intake, client reporting, AI-visibility tracking
  • Write handoff docs the client's office manager can actually follow

What you bring

  • 3+ years shipping production TypeScript or Python
  • Real third-party API integration scars, and the retry logic to show for it
  • LLM API experience — Claude, GPT, tool use, structured output
  • A bias for boring: cron beats queue beats framework until proven otherwise

Nice to have

  • Vercel/Supabase/Stripe stack; Playwright; voice agents
  • Client-services experience — you've demoed your own work to a non-technical buyer
